The Mathematics department at MSOE offers core courses in pre-calculus, calculus, differential equations and statistics;
client department courses in discrete mathematics, vector analysis and linear programming; electives in advanced differential
equations, complex variables and Laplace transforms; and graduate courses in linear algebra, complex variables, differential equations and statistics.
Emphasis is placed on practical problem solving skills rather than formal mathematics.
The Mathematics Department also offers a Minor in Mathematics.
