IP Access

This is an MSOE IP-protected database.
The IP-protected link to this database (below) can only be accessed from a valid MSOE computer account.
You can get to this database from either the MSOE Warp PC network or the MSOE Admin PC network if you are using the IP-protected link.
You can remotely access this database from home, office, and through your own private Internet Service Provider, but you must use your MSOE Identification Card barcode number and you must be entered in the MSOE Library database (see below).
MSOE students, faculty, and staff may also use the MSOE dial-up service or the MSOE proxy server for remote access.

Password Access

This database is remotely accessible for MSOE students, faculty, and staff with valid MSOE Identification Cards.
The use of the MSOE Identification Card barcode number to access this database is not transferable.

Description

This database is one of the best business and management databases available! MSOE subscribes to the premier version of this database, called ABI/Inform Global.
Well over 1,600 business, management, and economic journals and periodicals are indexed, and abstracted.
The database coverage begins with literature published in 1971. Recent and current years feature more full text coverage.
Information on more than 60,000 companies is readily available.
Executive profiles are available.
Coverage includes 350 English-language publications published outside of the United States.

Full Text Resources

This is a full text database. Many articles indexed are available online.
More than 700 titles in this database are available in full text, including leading business and management journals from Kluwer, John Wiley, and Palgrave Macmillan.
If you discover an article in the database that is not available in full text but that you would still like to see, check the Library's Periodical Holdings List to see if the article is in a journal or magazine held by the Library. If the Library does not have the article, contact the MSOE Library Interlibrary Loan department for help in obtaining the article.

You must be entered in the MSOE Library database in order to use this service. If you have questions or if your barcode number fails to permit access or if you receive a message about an "invalid checkdigit", contact the MSOE Library at (414) 277-7180.

Important remote password update. The library will issue a remote access barcode password to authorized users of this database. Authorized users include current students, current faculty, and current staff of the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Contact the library to request a password. You must provide proof that you are an authorized user. Remote access barcode passwords issued by the library are valid for one academic quarter only.
