The MSOE General Studies Department is responsible for administering and providing core courses for the Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree in Technical Communication. In addition, the department is primarily responsible for offering courses in the humanities, social sciences, English and engineering graphics. These offerings include both fundamental and advanced courses to develop and enrich students so that they might become more sensitive to and more fully aware of themselves and others. Technical Communication DegreeThe Technical Communication Program is available as a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, as a 2 + 2 degree for those with with an associate degree in applied science or two years of college credits, or as a minor for students enrolled in certain engineering, engineering technology or business management programs.Student Resources
