Welcome to the Software Engineering program at the Milwaukee School of Engineering!

It's an exciting time for software engineering as a discipline. Although the field was first christened more than 30 years ago, software engineering bachelor's programs in the United States have only come into existence in the last few years. And MSOE's program is one of the leaders, with its first graduates in May 2002!

The United States Bureau of Labor Statistics has identified software engineering as one of the fastest growing occupations over the 2002-12 period. Follow this link for more information.

We are also pleased that MSOE's software engineering program was one of the first to receive accreditation by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)*.
