Directions to the MSOE campus:
How Do I Get to MSOE?

From the North

  • Take I-43 south to downtown Milwaukee.
  • Exit at McKinley Ave. and go left / east at the stop light. Drive east on McKinley, which will become E. Knapp St., for six blocks.
  • Take a right on N. Broadway and take Broadway to the specific building or parking lot on campus.*

From the South

  • Take I-94 West/I-43 North to downtown Milwaukee.
  • Exit at McKinley Ave. and go right / east. Drive east on McKinley, which will become E. Knapp St., for six blocks.
  • Take a right on N. Broadway and take Broadway to the specific building or parking lot on campus.*

From the West

  • Take I-94 East to downtown Milwaukee.
  • When you arrive downtown, follow I-794 East.
  • On I-794 East, drive in the far left lane and exit at Jackson/Van Buren, which is a left hand exit.
  • Veer left onto Van Buren St. Follow north through downtown for seven blocks.
  • Turn left on State St. and follow to the specific building or parking lot on campus.**
From 41/45 South (Fox Valley)
  • Take 41 South to Milwaukee
  • Take 94 East to Milwaukee and follow the directions for "From the West ."

Admission Office Visitor - Additional Directions
(Open Houses, Campus Visit Days or personal appointments)

*Take Broadway for two blocks to MSOE’s Student Life and Campus Center, which is on the right-hand side, "CC" on our online map.

**Take State St. to Broadway. Turn right on Broadway to MSOE’s Student Life and Campus Center, which is on that block on the left-hand side, "CC" on our online map.

Admission Visitor Parking
Admission visitors may park in the Broadway Lot, which is across the street from the Student Life and Campus Center. Turn into the parking lot at Broadway and Highland Streets. You may ignore the permit only signs for your visit. If you have a personal campus visit, make a note of your license plate, make, model and color of your car and report it to the admission assistant at the beginning of your appointment. If you are visiting during an Open House or Campus Visit Day, lots are open to Admission visitors on these days.

If the Broadway Lot is full, you may park in the Milwaukee Street Lot A on N. Milwaukee St., just north of State Street, marked "Milwaukee St. Lot A " on our online map.

Admission Office/Open House/Campus Visit Day Location
Enter the Student Life and Campus Center at the middle door marked 1025 N. Broadway, "CC" on our online map. Take the elevator to the third floor for the Admission Office or Open House/Campus Visit Day check in.

If you are not an Admission visitor, please check with the person you are visiting to find out where you should park.

Travel alert: Please be aware that a major reconstruction project of the Marquette Interchange in downtown Milwaukee is currently underway and will continue through 2008. This project can cause ramp and lane closures and re-routed traffic. Please allow extra time for travel through this interchange and/or check the Web site http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/travel/milwaukee/closures.htm for the latest information.
