MSOE’s Architectural Engineering and Building Construction Department seventh annual Career Night will be held on Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 from 6 - 8:30 p.m.

Previous Career Night events have provided exhibitors an opportunity to showcase their company, meet MSOE faculty and students, and recruit students for internships and full-time employment. Participants were also recognized in the Career Night program guide.

Advantages for participants included:

  • Free promotion on MSOE Web site
  • Company profile included in MSOE Career Night program booklet
  • Personal and private interviews with qualified architectural engineering and construction management students
  • Opportunity to treat a host student to dinner and learn about MSOE’s programs
  • Dinner buffet
  • Shirt for each exhibitor

Provides educational support

The proceeds from this event are used to help send students to education outreach conferences. The professional societies in which our students are members include:
  • AGC (Associated General Contractors)
  • AIAS (American Institute of Architectural Students)
  • AIC (American Institute of Constructors)
  • ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers)
  • ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers)
  • IES (Illuminating Engineering Society)
  • MCAA (Mechanical Contractors Association of America)
  • NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association)
