Accepted students are required to make a non refundable $100 tuition deposit. After the tuition deposit is received, the Assistant Director, International Services will release the Certificate of Eligibility for F-1 Visa (Form I20). Once a student has received the Form I20 from MSOE the student will go to the United States Consulate or Embassy in his/her country to apply for a student visa (F-1 visa). The student should take their I20, documentation of financial support, copies of any test scores including the TOEFL, passport, and acceptance letter to the Consulate or Embassy. The decision to grant or deny a visa to an applicant is that of the Consulate or Embassy official who reviews your application. Students who are not granted
a visa may re-apply according to the rules of the United States Citizenship
and Immigration Services (UCIS- formerly the INS, Immigration and Naturalization
Services). Please direct all questions regarding visas to Mr. Nick
Seidler, the International Student Advisor. Mr. Seidler may be reached
at (414) 277-7225 or via e-mail. If a student does not use the Form I-20
issued by MSOE to enter the U.S. or study at MSOE, the student must return
the form to the MSOE International Student Advisor.
