Milwaukee School of Engineering enrolls approximately 1,800 full time day students, including approximately 438 women. There are an additional 600 students who attend evening college in undergraduate and master of science degree programs. Students are from throughout the United States, and during 2005-06 there were over 45 international students representing over 20 countries.

Professor and studentMore than 120 full time faculty with an average of seven years of industry experience, share their experience and knowledge in the classroom for the undergraduate students. The average size of a lecture class is 18 students. Due to the relatively small class sizes, students are able to receive personal attention from their professors.

The international students at MSOE add a very positive dimension to the campus. The Society of International Students' organization is an active group that sponsors presentations on international issues, hosts an annual international food luncheon, and provides a support system for students far from their homeland.
